As we continue our march towards a nuclear holocaust of North and South Korea to the beat of the ‘coalition-of-the-willing’ drums, maybe we should just consider for a moment that there may just be another narrative to that .  William Polk recently published a brief history of North Korea from circa 1545 until the present and it is well worth a read if you wish to make sense of the North Korean leadership is doing.  I will endeavor to source and reproduce it here later.
